Effects of Air Pollution in Chiang Mai
Now, there is one big problem in Chiang Mai that will become nation problem in the near future. That problem is pollution that is created by local people. The pollution affects air, water and soil. We can see that three of them are ail nature problems. We will explain about the three effects below.
As for the first effect, pollution affects the cleanliness of air. The most important factor that causes air pollution is pollution from cars and machines. Cars and machines that use Diesel fuel will create more pollution into air. People and animals that breathe in this pollution will have cancer that is a very dangerous disease. Moreover, cancer is very hard to be cured as well.
As for the second effect, chemical from factors in the heart of Chiang Mai creates water pollution in the river. Water pollution causes death among fishes and plants. Moreover, it also creates malfunction of organs among people and animals that drink the water as well. Some chemicals are very dangerous that they may even change the body parts of human in the next species too. In addition, water pollution will also cause a bad condition of soil that is another effect of pollution.
As for the last effect, water pollution can cause bad soil condition as well. Normally, we use water to feed plants and soil. If the water is not clean, then plants and soil will also get all the bad effects. Some numbers of local people are farmers, they rely on the plants and soil. If the soil is bad, plants will not grow and the farmers will be able to collect fewer plants and earn less income. Not only this, but also they will get a lot of illness if they eat the plants that grow from bad soil and bad water.
The previous paragraph should explain the effects of pollution in Chiang Mai. In my opinion, pollution may cause air pollution, water pollution and bad soil condition. These effects will bring about the problem to local people and animals wellness. Local people and all of the visitors should be more careful and aware of this problem. Also they should reduce the activities that cause pollution.

ผลกระทบของมลพิษในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่
ใน ปัจจุบันนี้ มีปัญหาใหญ่อันหนึ่งในเชียงใหม่ซึ่งจะกลายมาเป็นปัญหาของชาติในอนาคตอันใกล้ ปัญหานั้นก็คือปัญหามลพิษที่ก่อให้เกิดขึ้นมาโดยผู้คนในท้องถิ่น มลพิษมีผลต่อ อากาศ น้ำ และดิน เราสามารถเห็นว่าสามประการของมลพิษล้วนเป็นปัญหาธรรมชาติ เราจะอธิบาย เกี่ยวกับผลกระทบสามประการข้างล่างนี้
สำหรับผลกระทบแรก มลพิษมีผลต่อความสะอาดของอากาศ ปัจจัยสำคัญที่สุดที่ก่อให้เกิดมลพิษทางอากาศคือมลพิษจากรถยนต์และเครื่องยนต์ต่าง ๆ รถยนต์และเครื่องยนต์ที่ใช้น้ำมันดีเซลจะก่อให้เกิดมลพิษไปสู่อากาศมากขึ้น ผู้คนและสัตว์ต่าง ๆ ที่หายใจเข้าในมลพิษนี้จะเป็น โรคมะเร็งซึ่งเป็นโรคที่อันตรายมาก ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น โรคมะเร็งยากที่จะรักษาให้หายด้วย
สำหรับผลกระทบที่สอง สารเคมีที่มาจากโรงงานต่าง ๆในใจกลางเมืองเชียงใหม่ ก่อให้เกิดมลพิษทางน้ำในแม่น้ำ มลพิษทางน้ำก่อให้เกิดการตายของปลาและพืชต่าง ๆ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น มันยังก่อให้เกิดการทำหน้าที่บกพร่องของอวัยวะของผู้คนและสัตว์ต่าง ๆ ที่ดื่มน้ำด้วย สารเคมี บางอย่างอันตรายอย่างมากซึ่งมับอาจจะทำให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงในส่วนต่างๆของร่างกายในสายพันธุ์ต่อไปด้วย นอกจากนี้ มลพิษทางน้ำก็ยังทำให้เกิดสภาพที่ไม่ดีต่อดินซึ่งก็เป็นผลกระทบอีกอันหนึ่งของมลพิษ
สำหรับผลกระทบสุดท้าย มลพิษทางน้ำสามารถทำให้เกิดสภาพดินที่ไม่ดีเช่นกัน โดย ปกติแล้ว เราสามารถใช้น้ำเพื่อเลี้ยงดูพืชและดิน ถ้าน้ำไม่สะอาด พวกพืชและดินก็จะได้รับผลกระทบ ในทางลบ ผู้คนในท้องถิ่นบางคนเป็นชาวนา พวกเขาอาศัยพืชและดิน ถ้าดินไม่ดี พืชก็จะไม่ เจริญเติบโตและชาวนาจะสามารถเก็บพืชผลและมีรายได้น้อยลง ไม่เพียงแต่สิ่งนี้ แต่พวกเขายังจะได้รับโรคเจ็บป่วยมากมายถ้าพวกเขากินพืชที่ปลูกจากดินและน้ำที่ไม่ดี
